Marking the premiere of "Medicate," iTunes has launched a special pre-order for CRASH LOVE which will give fans who pre-order the album the chance to recieve "Medicate" right away. The iTunes version of CRASH LOVE will also featured bonus tracks "Breathing Towers To Heaven," an unreleased demo, and "Too Late For Gods," an unreleased studio track, both from the CRASH LOVE sessions.

Davey Havok, Jade Puget, Hunter Burgan and Adam Carson, collectively known as AFI, will release their eighth studio album, CRASH LOVE, September 29th on DGC/Interscope Records. Produced by Joe McGrath (Alkaline Trio, Green Day) and Jacknife Lee (U2, Weezer), CRASH LOVE is possibly AFI's most focused, direct and ambitious effort to date. "I am so proud of this record. I really believe it's the best AFI record. It honestly feels like we've made our first truly timeless record. We didn't set out to do that--you can't set out to do something like that--but it definitely feels like that's what we've achieved: created the album by which we'll be remembered," expressed front man Havok. With an album full of standout tracks including "Medicate," "Veronica Sawyer Smokes," "End Transmission," "Beautiful Thieves" and more AFI is poised to do just that, be remembered.

CRASH LOVE, the follow up to platinum albums Sing The Sorrow (2003) and DECEMBERUNDERGROUND (2006), will hit stores September 29th while the first taste of single "Medicate" lands on airwaves and the Internet on August 25th. "Medicate" will be made available for sale digitally on 8/25 and CRASH LOVE will also be available for pre-order on the same day at iTunes. Fans who pre-order the album from iTunes will also receive the exclusive bonus track, "Breathing Towers to Heaven," an unreleased demo from the CRASH LOVE sessions.

Elly Jackson is 21 years old. She has a short ginger bob, freckles, a nose that makes your heart turn to a puddle, but - more- importantly - a way with melodies that makes everything else around you completely vanish. The South Londoner is experiencing all the things girls of that age tend to; heartbreak, frustration, wonderment, invincibility and fragility. But unlike most girls her age, Elly has a staggering ability to channel all these feelings and experiences into wondrous blasts of crystal-clean ear candy that hit the listener with instant resonance. But La Roux (French for “the red haired one”) isn’t about disposable dance floor fodder or meaningless pap. “It’s not that I can’t listen to music without words that mean something, I do all the time. It’s just not the kind of music I want to make. I’ve cried between vocal takes. I want to connect with people at that level,” she says.

Whilst her weekends may be full of moshing around slippery sweat pits to the likes of Justice and Boyz Noize, her creative waters are stirred most by the artistry of the original electro chart pioneers like Eurythmics and Depeche Mode. Now the baby-faced siren is preparing a similar triple pronged attack; targeting charts, clubs and hearts.

Live, Yuksek’s performance is impressive - his fiery sets see him swooping between his vintage keyboards and FX board with focused finesse, alighting every venue he visits. In addition to his live sets, Yuksek has also been the subject of universal praise for his remixes, including the likes of Lady Gaga, Mika, Kaiser Chiefs, White Lies and Tommy Sparks. With disarming ease, he mixes pop hooks with dance floor devastation, post-punk riffs and acid loops, disco grooves, experimental arabesque flourishes, house beats, and catchy melodies to create mini epics that boldly declare the idea of “genre” an anachronism.
