ESCAPE THE FATE TO JOIN AND CO-HEADLINE SOUTH AMERICAN DATES WITH UNDEROATH IN MAY
Unfortunately, Attack Attack! Has had to cancel their upcoming South American tour. They hope very much to make it up to everyone at some point in the near future. To honor Escape The Fate's commitment to their South American shows and the support that we have been getting from their fans since their dates had to be postponed, we decided to combine both the Underoath and Escape The Fate tours.
Unfortunately, we were forced to postpone the appearances by We Came As Romans and Close Your Eyes. We appreciate their commitment to the South American tour that we had organized and hope to be able to bring these two great young acts to our continent soon.
Underoath and Escape The Fate will now co-headline the dates in Brazil, Argentina and Chile in May. Protest The Hero will be kept on this tour as direct support.
Tickets that had been purchased for the Escape The Fate/Attack Attack! shows will be accepted normally at the Underoath/Escape The Fate/Protest The Hero shows. Those who no longer want to attend the new dates can request refunds at points of purchase. ESCAPE THE FATE ANNOUNCES NEW TOURING LINEUP
Band To Hit The Stage at Sunset Strip Music Festival, Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival & UK Tour LOS ANGELES, CA – August 19th, 2011 - DGC/Interscope Records band Escape The Fate welcomes back bassist Max Green into the band’s touring fold along with new guitarist Kevin Thrasher, substituting for Monte Money, who has decided to step away from life on the road for now. The two join singer Craig Mabbitt and drummer Robert Ortiz to fill out the group. Green, who took the first half of 2011 to get healthy and recover from addiction says, “I’m feeling great and am glad to be back with my band. Escape The Fate is my life. This is where I belong.” Thrasher, who previously toured for years with Love Hate Hero, is excited to hit the road Escape The Fate. Although Money will still be a creative force in the band, Thrasher has taken over lead guitar touring duties. Known for his shredding, powerful playing, he is an enthralling addition. Escape The Fate kicks off their new touring lineup on Saturday, August 20th in LA on the Sunset Strip Music Festival’s mainstage alongside rock legends Mötley Crüe, then will ignite stages across North America on the mainstage of the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival with Avenged Sevenfold before heading to the U.K. with Funeral For A Friend on October 23rd.
